The month of August is another opportunity to continue to put the Nollywood industry ahead of other movie industries in the world and Nigerian filmmakers are not relenting on that.
In the month of July, Nollywood filmmakers blessed Nigerians with movies like Survivor, Yahoo +, Tiger’s Tail, Money Miss Road, Hey You, to mention a few.

Our Naija filmmakers are bringing a new cinematic experience to our screens in the month of August.
Here are five trailers of movies to anticipate in the month of August.
1. Sista
The director of Breaded Life, Biodun Stephen, has unveiled the first look of the much-anticipated movie in the form of a very brief, very exciting 50 seconds teaser, which finds a single mother of two in a situation where she will be forced to face her past.
TFC earlier reported that the film’s poster bears the tagline, ‘The Past Comes Crumbling’ and features stills with Kehinde Bankole, Deyemi Okanlawon and Bisola Aiyeola on them.

2. The Set Up 2
The new Inkblot movie, ‘The Set Up 2’, is a collaboration between Inkblot Studios, Anakle Films and FilmOne Entertainment. ‘The Set Up 2’ is written and directed by the co-founder of the company, Naz Onuzo.

The movie synopsis reads, “Four years later Chike (Adesua Etomi Wellington) has barely come to terms with her life as an Agent for an international organization, when she is forced to risk everything she holds dear once again to go after a criminal, Usi (Nancy Isime) Who kidnaps Grace’s (Kehinde Bankole) daughter in order to blackmail Chike into doing her bidding.
The film is set for cinemas from August 19.
3. The Stranger I know
The movie produced by Aderonke Moyinlorun and directed by Akin Tijani Balogun features some of Nollywood’s finest actors.

Set in Lagos and the United States of America, ‘The Stranger I Know’ tells the story of an up-and-coming actress, Janet, who gets her first lead role in a big-budget Nollywood movie.
The film is set for cinemas from August 19.
4. Obara’M
The movie tells the story of Oluchi, an up-and-coming musician is forced to confront her true self and her past mistakes.

‘Obara M’ is the next musical film off FilmTrybe, Singularity Media and FilmOne Entertainment’s collaboration from the minds of Kayode Kasum (director) and Dare Olaitan (producer), and it’s lined up for August 26 theatrical debut.
