In this edition of TFC Lists, we present to you five Nollywood action and spine-chiller movies for you, in the spirit of ‘Light, camera, and action!’.
1. The Delivery Boy
The Delivery Boy is a 2019 movie written and directed by Adekunle Adejuyigbe that follows the story of a teenage suicide bomber on the run and his newfound ally, a young prostitute, who must rely on each other to survive the night while searching for answers to the terrible secrets that made them who they are.
The movie starred Jemima Osunde, Jude Chukwuka, Ibrahim Jammal, Charles Etubiebi Oke, amongst others and is currently showing on Prime video.

2. Badamasi
Badamasi: Portrait of a General is a biopic about former Nigerian head of state, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB). It was directed by Obi Emelonye and stars Enyinna Nwigwe in the lead role as Babangida.
It is the first Nollywood political biopic and is currently streaming on Prime Video.

3. Rattlesnake (The Ahanna Story)
Produced by Charles Okpaleke and Odeh Chris, Rattle Snake is a 2hours, 25 minutes Ramsey Nouah’s direction about a young man who assembles a specialised crew “The Armadas” and performs complicated heists, until his crimes make too many enemies.
Starring Stan Nze, Osas Ighodaro, Bucci Franklin, Efa Iwara, Elma Nbadiwe, Tobi Bakre; the movie is a 2020 movie showing on Netflix.

4. Oloibiri
Oil drilling depletes the resources of a small village in the Niger Delta, but tensions reach a boiling point when a corporation discovers more oil nearby.
Starring Olu Jacobs, Richard Mofe Damijo, William R Moses, Taiwo Ajai Lycette and others, Oloibiri was directed by Curtis Graham and produced by Rogers Ofime. Its initial release is in May 2015 and currently showing on Netflix.
5. Shadow parties

A family faces destruction in a long-running conflict between communities that pits relatives against each other amid attacks and reprisals.
Shadow Parties is a 2020 movie directed and produced by Yemi Amodu.
The film stars Yemi Blaq, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Toyin Abraham, Jide Kosoko, Sola Sobowale, Magdalena Korpas and Lucien Morgan as major characters and the movie is available on Netflix.
