The month of August is here with Nollywood filmmakers bringing their movies that enjoyed a theatrical run to streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and others.
For the month of August, a number of licensed titles have been confirmed after making good numbers at the box office.

Here are Nollywood movies coming to Netflix this August.
1. Lockdown
‘Lockdown’ is a 2021 Nigerian psychological thriller film written and directed by Moses Inwang. The film stars Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Tony Umez and Charles Awurum in the lead roles.
The synopsis reads, “After a mysterious new virus enters the country, a group of unsuspecting citizens find themselves locked inside a hospital together for an isolation period of 21 days. But the deadly virus isn’t the only thing to fear, as tensions run high both inside and outside the hospital.”

2. The Razz Guy
The Udoka Oyeka directorial comedy film, ‘The Razz Guy‘ premiered in cinemas last year to impressive reviews. The comedy will launch on the global streaming platform on August 12, 2022.
‘The Razz Guy’ follows the story of Temi, an obnoxious senior executive who loses his ability to speak proper English after a curse is placed on him. He must find a way to lift the curse ahead of a crucial business merger deal.

3. Dwindle
‘Dwindle’ is Kayode Kasum and Dare Olaitan’s directorial movie, which was released in July 2021 and is coming to Netflix on August 19. The star-studded film runs for 108 minutes.
‘Dwindle’ tells the story of Nedu and Buta & Tolani and Juliet; over a couple of days, a series of unfortunate events befall them. Chinedu is a down-on-his-luck hustler who has just lost his job on the first day because of a government ban on bikes in the state. Buta is a street urchin that has been squatting with Sogo, a happy-go-lucky guy with significant street cred.
